Nucleust
Case study

Nucleust Perfumes

A luxury fragrance storefront and the back office behind it: discovery by mood and scent family, checkout, and every order in one place.

Fragrance storefront

A fragrance house has to sell desire on the shop front and confidence in the back office. Most affordable storefronts give one or the other: a template with no operational depth, or an admin screen that looks like a spreadsheet. This is both, in one visual language — editorial presentation for the shopper, and a complete catalogue, order and customer view for the brand.

Inside the product

Nucleust Perfumes in use.

Discovery by mood, not by product code

The front door is an editorial hero: a serif statement, a rotating feature bottle, and a choice of light or dark presentation.

From there the catalogue is browsed by mood and scent family — Day, Evening, Romantic, Fresh, Oriental, Woody — with rating filters, sorting and a live count of what matches. Each fragrance has its own page with a gallery, price and original price, stock status, quantity and a clear add-to-cart action, plus delivery and authenticity reassurance.

A bag that follows the shopper

The cart slides in without interrupting browsing. Quantities can be changed there, and a guest cart survives sign-in, so nothing chosen while browsing is lost at the checkout.

Checkout is one clear step: shipping details, a summary of subtotal, delivery and tax, then payment and a confirmation showing the order number and total. Stock is checked at the moment of ordering, not when the page was first rendered.

The brand runs its own shop

The overview shows revenue, order volume, customer numbers, product count, pending orders and low-stock items, with the most recent orders underneath.

Products carry images, pricing, stock, category and featured status. Orders move through pending, processing, shipped, delivered or cancelled with a detail view of items, address, payment status and totals. Customers are reviewed with their order counts and history, product feedback has a moderation queue, and the home page's own headline and supporting copy are edited without touching the design.

Why the combination is the product

Restrained gold and black, editorial typography and floating product imagery are the atmosphere; accounts, saved carts, calculated delivery and tax, and a record of every order are the commerce underneath.

  • A storefront that looks art-directed rather than templated
  • Complete commerce: accounts, saved carts, stock checked at ordering, calculated delivery and tax
  • Fragrance-first discovery with ratings, sorting and a live result count
  • One visual language from hero to confirmation, in light or dark, on a phone as naturally as on a desktop
